Need some shoes filled

Men’s size 8-12, athletic wear, worn in.. Maybe a pair of hiking shoes. Hockey skates, rugby or football cleats?? Worn 3-4x/week. Not gathering dust in the closet. I completely understand this, but I'm confused as to why 1. He didn't tell me earlier, and 2. If he thought we were too young, why did he ask me to be his girlfriend?

He told me that he still loved me, but he thought we were just too young to be dating (I'm 14, he's 15). He said that it would be better for both of us if we waited until we were more mature to be in a relationship.
